Let's Play a Game

I am going to give you a sentence and you tell me what's wrong with it!

This morning, I swept the kitchen and the living room while Samantha Jane ate breakfast.

(There are actually 2 things.)

Okay, time's up.
1. Samantha Jane didn't need me to give her breakfast :( I knew this day was coming, but it
is bittersweet nonetheless. All last week, she would have her bottle with 8 oz. whole milk and 1 scoop of formula, then eat Cheerios and banana on her own. But today, she wanted the Cheerios first, so I poured the milk into a sippy cup and set it on the high chair. And she drank it. All of it.
She didn't need me to do anything except prepare the meal. And I'll be honest...I teared up. I know, I know- she'll always need me, but just let me have my moment of self-pity.

2. I swept the kitchen and the living room. We have been in this house for 2 years and the maid still hasn't shown up. She is so lazy! Good thing we haven't paid her yet!

Sooooo Big!!!! It is all so bittersweet... I love the independence but I truly miss just holding Ella in my arms and giving her a bottle. If only they could change their own diapers ;) I love SJ's sweet cheeks...Do you just kiss them all day long???

Ok, that post was hilarious! At first I thought you were giving us all a lesson in grammar! I know it is hard...life goes by so fast. So much more to look forward to, though! :)
