Our Life

Sadly, the other half of the collection is downstairs.
*Yes- we have too many DVDs
* No- we don't watch any of them
Samantha Jane's dresser
My favorite newborn pic & bear bank that Aunt Allison made
to have set up at the baby shower. It's FULL, too!
First official family picture
This is in our bathroom
I love monogrammed things! I need a little practice though...and
maybe some stencils, but I like how this turned out.
I got these candleholders at Old Time Pottery
The kitchen window. If you look closely, we're starting to get grass!!!
I made this one! Got the bottle at Marshall's for $2 and
layered colored pasta, uncooked gorbanza beans & the
same styrofoam balls that are in the bathroom decoration.
Kitchen
The only one missing is the Father/Daughter, but Father's Day is soon!
Love this frame
We were at Publix one morning and saw this little chair and
stool set. Samantha Jane started bouncing, pointing and saying
"please, please," How can you say no to that?!

Well a lot has been going on with the Raines/Gage clan lately.
Uncle Jamie tore his ACL and had the surgery yesterday.
The original MRI actually showed what the doctors thought
was also a torn PCL and crushed bone, but when they got
started, only the ACL needed repairing, so that was good.
He is home and in Loratab-land (sp?) and will be back in
no time! Caleb is having two wisdom teeth and two molars
pulled next week... the dentist terrifies me. I'd rather have
teeth pulled...wait... haha, I didn't see the pun until I was
halfway through the analogy. Hopefully, that amused you,
'cause I have certainly cracked myself up :) Samantha Jane
took a trip to the doctor today as well. She has been limping,
but not hurting. Dr. Henschel said that kids between
1-2 years are just clumsy and walk funny and he didn't see
any need for concern, only to watch for dragging of the foot-
which could mean something neurological. And as far as all
the above pics...we have decided against painting the house
since we don't plan on staying too much longer, but I have
been doing some decorating. Also getting some awesome
ideas from the "Thrifty Chic" blog I have on my list- you
should really check her site out if you haven't already!
Hope you and yours are well!

I love that her bank is almost full:) Can I borrow $5....he he just kidding...that's what I have Jade for. She is the only one in the house that keeps cash around. I love the updates and pics of Sammy J.....I guess it's my turn but I feel so behind i don't know where to start.

Ok, I have so many things to say about this post I don't know where to start! Your DVD collection is hilarious! After you have kids you don't watch movies anymore, do you? I LOVE SJ's bank and the personalized plate in the pic of you all at the hospital (also love the pic!) The jar that you made with the pasta looks so interesting and so does the bathroom arrangement. I love monogrammed things, too! It was so nice to see parts of the house...it looks beautiful!

Oh yeah, I knew I would forget something! SJ bouncing and pointing at the chair set is just plain adorable! It seems so weird that she is old enough to know that she really wants something!
