Re-Cap

Happy Birthday Samantha Jane! You had a wonderful
party yesterday at the Discovery Center and a fun
celebration with everyone at school today. You have
changed and grown so much over the last year! You
now weigh 26 lbs., are 35 1/2 inches tall and are one
entertaining little girl! Over the last few months, you
have learned how to jump- which is very fun for you,
your vocabulary is off the charts, and you have the
sweetest heart. I wanted to blog some of the funny
things you've said over the last few months so that
we can all look back on these and laugh together.

SJ- "Let's go to Publix"
"we don't need anything sweetie"
SJ- "I neeeeeed a cookie."

SJ- "Mommy!!!" (early one morning)
"yes, honey"
SJ- "Help me- I want to stand on my head!"

Another early morning, you came into our
bedroom and said "Mommy, I have 3 babies!"
I asked you to get in bed with us, and you said
"No, Mommy they're crying- help me."

You have such wonderful manners that you use
all.the.time. and are such a joy to everyone you
meet. You and Grandmommy still go to the
nursing home in Woodbury once a week, and some
of the residents will only do physical therapy
sessions if/when you are there to help! I hope that
you continue to be comfortable around elderly people
because it can be difficult; you brighten their days,
though.
You know the names of all the colors, and are getting
better at correctly identifying them. Sometimes you
just like to disagree for the fun of it- we think you
probably know them all, just aren't letting on quite
yet!
Your favorite songs are Days of the Week (the Adams'
Family version), "Fireflies" by Owl City and
"Fearless" by Taylor Swift. You also enjoy all of the
music from Enchanted.
You are very much into SuperWhy, the Sprout channel
and Sesame Street and are becoming a big fan of
princesses and everything pink and sparkly. One of
your favorite books right now is Fancy Nancy- which
you pronounce "Ancy-Ancy". We read it every night
along with Hop on Pop, which you practically read to
us! You like to watch Daddy on the computer & can
talk to Pe-Paw and Uncle Isaac while they play their
computer games.
Every Monday is Spaghetti Night at Grandmommy
and Papa's house. We try to make it out to
Chattanooga at least every 6 weeks. Pe-Paw and Meg
are so good about devoting the entire weekend to you
and you love talking about them. You also love saying
the word "Chattanooga" :)
You are very affectionate- tons of hugs, kisses and I
love you's out of the blue, which I love because that is
how I and Daddy are as well.
We love you very much and couldn't be prouder of
the little lady you are becoming!
