The squares are wooden and originally had black and white
pictures on them. I bought them at Target a while back
and had been passing them up even longer than that because
I had no idea what I would do with random black and white
photo squares. But when they clearanced out
to $.75 each, I became inspired to spray paint the edges white
(they were black) and glue different pieces of scrapbook paper
to them to make a collage. Voila!
