Let Freedom Ring.......

In a patriotic sense, of course, but also because Samantha Jane
and I are on vacation this week!!! The school is closed for
Summer Break and we have had a great time already! We
spent Saturday swimming with the Bakers, Sunday swimming
with the Merediths and had some great family time on the 4th.

She was mad at me here because we were leaving.... as we
passed the food table she said "I need one more brownie
because I'm so sad." Such a girl! I tried to explain to her that
it was a little hard to take her pouting and ignoring me seriously
since she was wearing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING under her
cover-up! She didn't want her dress to get wet, so she took off
the bathing suit.


On Monday, we went to Shelbyville to visit with Allison, Matt and
their clan! Here is Allison with Whitney (I think.... I hate that I
can't tell them apart! I spend so much time on Allison's blog
guessing and staring at their cute little faces to find differences.)
*sigh*
When we left, we stopped by Target and then headed home.
Samantha Jane is not a fan of fireworks, so we just had some nice
family time and she was in bed before the fireworks really got going.
We were actually able to see quite a show since several people in
our neighborhood went all out on fireworks purchases!

I made a yummy cheese tortellini dinner.....

When we were at Target, Samantha Jane picked out this Toy Story
lego set. She has been wearing underwear to bed lately, so she got
a reward!
