Christmas kick-off

We started off our Christmas marathon with a trip to the
Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, Nov. 26th to see the Rockettes!
I was anticipating being in the Christmas spirit upon our
return, so I spent all day Friday getting the house ready!
You had me at popcorn....
Samantha Jane's favorite food is popcorn. And as luck would
have it, there was a tent set up specifically for purchasing and
enjoying the salty goodness during the performance!
Still more excited about the popcorn than the Rockettes :)
Now we're in the kick-line spirit!
We walked over to Opryland Hotel after the show to eat lunch and
look at the decorations (Caleb was only interested in lunch, but we
basically had to walk through the entire hotel to find the restaurant,
so it was a 2-for-1.)



Last night was the HRC Medical Christmas party in Franklin.
It was lots of fun! Great food, cool venue and members of Chicago,
Survivior and Toto performed all night! It was fun to get dressed up
and meet the people that Caleb talks about everyday.

The view from the loft. There was a booth set up for making fun
flip-books. You got to put on goofy props and act silly for 6 seconds
in front of the camera. And your pictures were printed into a small
book that we were able to take home right there! They also had a
photographer set up for formal pictures, so I hope ours turned out
well!
